Yesterday after a long day I decided to have some me time.I got into my comfy clothing, took all my makeup off and made myself a hair treatment (something that I will be blogging in due course) and had a relaxing evening. I got myself comfortable in bed to watch a film on Netflix. I watched Just My Luck with a bowl of popcorn and one of my favourite magazines Elle. I have had this idea for my blog for quite some time so whilst watching Just My Luck I decided to jot down some notes. I am not sure whether I will reveal at this stage, but as I studied Journalism & Digital Media I would like to create something on my blog which shows my skills in a Journalistic way. I love writing blog posts and taking photographs so I hope to create something that may take some time but something that will have a lot of thought and time put into each month. It might work out well, It may not but its worth a try. Watch this space!
You have probably noticed the pink theme in my photo, well thats because when I went to one of my local shops pretty much everything I bought was pink... I never used to be a fan of pink or pink packaging, however yesterday I was won over by all things pink. I don't know if that was my inner 'girly girl' crying out, due to the fact that I was planning on having a pampering and relaxing night or it was just pure coincidence. Either way I found myself using my Bubblegum lip scrub, followed by my Jelly Belly Bubble gum lip balm and using a a pink pot of moisturiser by Garnier which I didn't need but felt the need to buy because it looked cute and pink... what is wrong with me?? It is actually a really nice light moisturiser which is just the right size to put in your handbag and a bargain at £1!
I also painted my nails last night, something that I rarely get to do these days which is a shame because I love to paint my nails. Just isn't enough time in the day... anyhow, I posted a picture up on Instagram. It appears to be quiet popular in Boots as there was only two left, I am not surprised it is a lovely colour for the summer.
Let me know what you think of my new banner, I thought I was due change as my blog has changed so much. I will be keeping my signature at the bottom of my posts. It has been with me since the beginning of my blogging journey, so I decided to keep a little reminder of what my blog used to be like. Just without the really really bag quality photos..
