My Winter Essentials- Blogmas Day 12

Hello!

I have been unable to upload my blog posts for the last few days of Blogmas because I didn't schedule the posts to go up on their own before I went away and I couldn't get my App to work on my mobile... #bloggerfail So here it is!

Today I thought I would share my favourite skin essentials for winter time, our skin and hair is effected at this time of the year, leaving it dry. If you are anything like me my skin goes into orbit and creates a nice crusty layer of dry skin on my face and in patches on my body. The perks of being fair..

Firstly I would like to talk about hair, My hair has taken a battering, to say the least over the years, due to trying to hide my red headed curly locks. I straighten my hair from time to time, but especially at this time of year I like to lock in as much moisture as possible.

My favourite hair oils are Garnier Ultimate blends which leaves a gorgeous honey aroma to your hair, as well as leaving it feeling super soft and less flyaway, and Mark Hill MiracOILous which is the most beautiful mix of Argon, Ylang Ylang and 12 other zingy ingredients. This is my all time favourite hair oil, It leaves a beautiful scent to your hair all day, controls frizz and smooth.
For over night I recommend Percy & Reed, Wonder Night Recovery. Which is basically a Maks for your hair, and then you wash out the next day. It is a lightweight formula which isn't too greasy making it easy to sleep with it in and the results I am surprised at every time I use it. It's your best friend for fighting damage and frizz!

Next up is skin care, Palmers Coco Butter is my must have for this time of the year, It smells gorgeous and it leaves your skin hydrated. This is my best friend after shaving, especially at this time of the year as shaving can be so drying for your skin.

Benefit Tripple performing Moisturiser and Its Potent under eye cream are both brilliant little pick me ups for keeping your skin smooth, brighter and moisturised. I tend to use the Tripple Moisturiser as a Foundation base as it is a lightweight cream and leaves your skin feeling silky.

Being the sensitive type that I am, My Mum actually recently got me this moisturiser and it's brilliant. I don't like face creams which leave your skin feeling cakey and like it cannot breathe. This is great for sensitive skin and it really adds tons of moisture to your skin. It doesn't smell of anything either, a lot of face creams can have an overpowering perfume fragrance which doesn't agree with my skin. If you have dermatitis this is a great product.

I couldn't talk about my top winter essentials without throwing in Lush's Lip scrubs.  I love the Bubblegum scrub, I use it all year round as they are great for getting rid of all the dry skin on your lips and smells delish! When it comes to this time of the year, it is nice to try a different flavor of scrub, the Santa's Lipscrub smells of cola! How could you not love this product!

Finally, I have so many scars and red marks on my face I have to use what I call a Heavy Duty Foundation. I have trialed many Foundations which say give you a lasting coverage, hide all them thing you wanna hide on your skin but to no prevail. Vichy DermaBlend Face & Body Foundation is my ultimate Foundation, It covers all my scars, marks, and red skin, as well as leaving my face looking fresh.

What do you think of my Winter Essentials lineup?
