Hello!
I can't believe how quickly Christmas is coming round, I'm not half excited as I normally am, Certainly not watched as many Christmas Movies as I would have liked. The past couple of weeks has gone so fast!
As you probably noticed I didn't post Blogmas Day 18 Yesterday, I simply have been very busy, with Christmas Present buying, wrapping and seeing Family, as I'm sure it is a busy time for you too!
The problem is at this time of year, we try to do too much at once, or cram too much into the little time we have. Like my plan yesterday was to do some Last bits of Christmas Shopping, Do some baking, see some family who come over from the other side of the country and get lots of Blog Preplanning done. None of which really got done but I did get to see some of my Family which was obviously the best use of time. I suppose when it comes to this time of year you have to prioritise your time, and spending time with your loved ones is more important than ensuring you have a post up for Blogmas. The world isn't going to end because you haven't had the time to fit it in, and let's be honest most of us are doing the same thing, getting the preparations done before Christmas.
Today I thought I would share something that we got from Aldi, I have wanted a Gingerbread house to decorate at Christmas for years, but somehow always end up forgetting to get one. We finally got one, at £5 this GingerBread house which you decorate yourself is a bargain! I decided to copy the design from their Christmas guide, as I didn't want to mess it up. The icing was hard to use at times because it was going cold making it hard to apply, so I kept on having to stop and warm up the icing, but all considering I think I did a Good job. The Gummy Bears and The Smarties come with the kit, along with the Icing and bag. The snowflakes are just cake decorations I bought from Sainsbury's.
Chritsmas Countdown- Tesco (I think was £5) GingerBread house- Aldi £5 Alphabet Mug- Paperchase £7 |
Rabbit Door Stop - Matalan £8 |
I didn't do such a bad job did I? Have you decorated a Gingerbread House this Year?
