If you follow me on Instagram, you will probably know that I share pictures of food and smoothies from time to time. Sometimes it can be messy, but as a result, you will have a tasty snack which will help keep you going through the day, and they are filled with natural goodness. This smoothie is an Antioxidant full of natural goodness and Nutrition. It is a Super Food power house! I tend to use mixed berries for this recipe because of the various benefits. This is a great alternative for a breakfast, as it a smooth, creamy texture with a punch of mixed berries.

This is probably my favourite smoothie to have mid day or over lunch, it is full of vitamins and natural sugar. Personally, I would rather have this as my sweet treat for the day than something high in sugar with lots of E numbers. It is important to balance the amount of each type of fruit, Mango is high in natural sugars which can still increase your blood sugar levels quite high. So when making this smoothie, I tend to use more Pineapple than Mango, on occasion I will also add a handful of mixed berries, fresh or frozen. Frozen Fruit is great for a nice cool refreshing smoothie. (Make sure that your blender is capable of mixing frozen produce first) This smoothie is easy to make and takes up very little time.
For this, you will need:
1 Mango Sliced
Cup of Orange Juice
Hand full of fresh/ frozen mixed berries (optional)
Cup of frozen Pineapple/Fresh
Add all ingredients to the mixer and get blending! Simple! For a more refreshing thick smoothie, I recommend frozen fruits.

If you are after a kick start to the day with a zing and fruity smoothie this is the one for you.
For this, you will need:
1 cup of mixed Red Berries
1 Cup of Soy Milk/ Almond Milk Depending on your preferred Flavour
1 Cup of Strawberries
1 Tbsp of Honey
Add all ingredients to the mixer and get blending!
