Makeup Revolution London Review

I have had this post in draft for sometime, it was going to be a Haul post however I thought it would be best as a review. Makeup Revolution have been popping up on social media for sometime now probably because they create affordable, high quality palettes. So I picked up the Ultra Blush Palette Sugar and Spice, Flawless Ultra Shadows and the Radiance Radiant Lights Palette to try out a mixture of their product line.. It took some time to win me over, but I have become a lover of contouring so trialing the Radiant Lights Palette and the Blush Palette together was something I wanted to try out.

The Blusher palette has rich pigments which when applied to the skin stays true to its colour. The colour is best applied lightly and built up for a more natural look. As I have fair skin the top two pigments are great for contouring, giving the skin a peachy tone and contrasts well with the highlight kit in the photograph below. This I use very lightly as It can be over powering and make you look like a shiny faced robot.
I tend to go for a nude eye with winged eyeliner ,however if I purchase an Eyeshadow, it tends to be a nude palette. Personally for me being fair skin rich bright colours do not suite me at all, I like a light smokey eye or a little bit of shimmer around my eye. This palette offers a range of 32 light to dark shades which allows you to create plenty of looks. The eyeshadows are very pigmented and stay well on the lid and the product doesn't  fall, like some products I have tried in the lower price range. So far I am very impressed with the quality of the products from Revolution.
I purchased these palettes in Superdrug which when you bought three products, you got a cute free makeup pouch! I may do a makeup look post using these products soon, so  if anyone is interested in seeing that, get in touch!
 Until next time
