One thing I will say is that I feel currently that my blog is like any other in many ways, there are ton's of great blogs with great content but follow the same path so to speak. That is not what I would like for my blog, I have always enjoyed taking pictures, creating digital content which is why I went to University to study Journalism & Digital Media in the first place. So look out for changes. I have already broken some of my personal barriers by uploading a YouTube video, one thing I thought I could never do. Don't let anxiety get the best of you!

The sun has managed to show itself the past few days after crazy wind, rain and hail. Welcome to Yorkshire... If there is anything that I wanted to achieve this year was health.
I have always been a bugger for eating stuff thats bad for you, and a lot of it, so I hope to achieve what I am going to call Body Happiness. This is not about weight but keeping healthy, I don't hope to achieve a unrealistic skinny figure, my body will not allow it anyhow. Im a natural size 12 my hips just do not allow anything less and for that I am happy. I don't want to cut out what makes me happy, what is the point of eating if you don't enjoy it. Make your gut happy, just with not as much crap. As much as I love things that are bad for me, I do actually enjoy fruit and Vegetables and savoury snacks like sunflower seeds. I have been enjoying some snacks from Aldi's The Foodie Market Range recently. I will have to find out the name, but they are full of dry fruits and grain. I have them as an alternative to crisps.
The reason why I am doing this is because eating high calorie and fatty foods too much results in feeling lousy and not having much up and go. They do say you are what you eat, so I have decided to swap some things I enjoy for a more healthy alternative, which I can still enjoy and not feel like I am punishing myself.
To feel Body happy I need to also exercise more, if there is anything that really annoys me is that when I discuss with some people about eating healthy or fitness they cant quite understand why, they just say why? your skinny... Im not skinny nor am I overweight and that doesn't mean you shouldn't look after your body. So that is something that has been on my mind recently. I think the summer has really kickstarted that to the front of my mind.
Oh and I have bought some new trainers, I have been looking for some Sketchers GoWalk's in my size for quiet some time now, every time I have gone to a sports shop they haven't had them in stock. I saw some GoRuns in a local shop in my size and I thought they would be ideal and couldn't resist getting them
I am currently on the look out for a fitness tracker, something that can track the activity I am doing whether it is going for a walk or on a bike ride on holiday. I have done a lot of research and I will probably go for the Fitbit Flex but for now I intend on using my old friend RunKeeper a great Fitness App on your phone which using GPS to track your location and distance, If you don't want to spend money on a fitness watch this is definitely an app to consider. Anyhow I am rambling, you are likely to see more fitness and health posts coming from me. So look out for that.
Anyhow Until next time XoX
